“Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit willing to surrender everything to You. Your Word says in James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” I choose to submit my life entirely to You, Lord, trusting that Your plans for me are good and perfect.
Lord, I acknowledge that You are sovereign over all things. You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. As the psalmist declared in Psalm 139:1-2, “O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You understand my thoughts from afar.” You know every detail of my life, and I surrender all my thoughts, plans, and desires to Your perfect will.
Father, I confess that there have been times when I have held on to my own understanding and followed my own ways. But Your Word reminds me in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Today, I choose to trust You with all my heart. I lay down my own understanding and submit every aspect of my life to You.
Lord Jesus, You said in Matthew 16:24, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” I desire to be Your disciple, and I willingly take up my cross. I deny myself, my selfish ambitions, and my worldly desires. I choose to follow You wholeheartedly, knowing that in surrendering to You, I find true life and purpose.
Holy Spirit, I invite You to work in me and through me. Guide me, teach me, and empower me to live a life that is pleasing to the Father. Help me to walk in obedience to His Word and to surrender daily to His leading. As Romans 12:1-2 instructs, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.
Father, I offer myself as a living sacrifice to You. Transform me by the renewing of my mind. May my life be a reflection of Your love, grace, and holiness. I surrender my past, present, and future into Your hands, trusting that You will lead me on the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.”
