Our Prayer Today
“We come to you today, Heavenly Father, in solidarity with our Christian brothers and sisters who are in constant need of your assistance and support. We raise our voices in prayer, asking with you to hear our requests and grant those we pray for your love and healing.
Lord, we ask that you comfort and heal those who are suffering from disease or pain. We pray for anyone going through a tough time, asking you to give them courage and direction. Lastly, we pray, asking that you provide individuals who are struggling with mental health issues serenity and clarity in their thinking.
Dear God, we also pray for our leaders and others in positions of power, asking that you give them courage, wisdom, and discernment when they make decisions that have an impact on other people’s lives. Lastly, we pray for our nation and communities, asking you to provide justice, peace, and healing to those who are afflicted and oppressed.
Lord, we believe in your kindness and power to heal and restore the lives of people we pray for, knowing that you are a God of love and compassion. As we stand near to one another in your presence and raise our voices in prayer, please help us to be obedient intercessors.
All these requests are made in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who gave us the teachings of mutual love and intercession for the poor. Amen.”
