Today’s Prayer
“My God and Father! You are my strength and my refuge! Without you, I’m vulnerable? What can I do, and where can I go without you? In all sincerity, I am helpless and I need your heavenly strength to arise in me. Point out the way forward for me during this time. Guard and shield me.
When doubt and darkness descend, you are the one I turn to merciful God. You’re my everlasting hope. Fill my heart with Your hope’s brightness. Remind me that Your love is a constant light guiding me onward, even in the darkest of times. Thank You for Your promises to renew my spirit and for Your steadfast confidence, which will anchor my soul in total tranquility. May Your steadfast presence provide me hope constantly, since with You, everything is possible.
In my moments of weakness and exhaustion, I have turned to You, Almighty God, my refuge and strength. Give me Your heavenly strength so I can confront the obstacles of life with bravery and resiliency. Raise me up with Your eternal force when my troubles seem endless and the burdens seem to prove heavy. May Your unwavering love give me strength, knowing that You are always there to guide, support, and maintain me.
Oh Lord! I’m too helpless and dejected to handle the circumstances in my life right now. God, please give me some of your special strength. Please give me the strength to endure all of the hardships I encounter in life. Lord, please never leave me by myself; be by my side constantly.
Lord of Peace, I long for the peacefulness of Your presence in this chaotic world. Give my heart the calmness that is beyond comprehension. Please speak a soft word of Your love to calm my racing thoughts and relieve my tired spirit. Teach me to be a conduit of Your peace in every interaction and to live in harmony with others. May Your tranquilly rule my heart, house, and neighborhood, reflecting the deep tranquility of Your kingdom. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.”
